Technical information for taking care of the car cooler
To care and maintain your car cooler, you need to consider the following:
A) General points:
1- Make sure that the car engine speed is less than 1000 rpm when the cooler starts working. In other words, to turn on the air conditioner while in motion, first release the gear and release the gas pedal until the engine speed reaches idle, then turn on the air conditioner. This will prevent the shock from entering the compressor.
2- When using the cooler while the car is stopped, avoid direct sunlight into the driver's cabin.
3- To get the best performance from the air conditioner, close the car doors, raise the windows and close the curtains.
b) Monthly care and maintenance:
1- Clean the condenser (cooler radiator) with water or high pressure wind.
2- Inspect the cooler gas pipelines (hoses) for scratches and wear.
3- Test the tension of the fan belt of the cooler.
4- Unscrew the screws holding the compressor.
5- Avoid spilling engine oil on cooler and condenser hoses.
6- In winter, turn on the cooler for 20 minutes at least once every 20 days. This is a necessary operation to lubricate the parts inside the compressor.
